Tool Shortcuts
Overview
Use keyboard shortcuts to switch tools without opening menus. The current tool changes immediately and stays active until you switch back to selection.
Tool Keys
V— Selection toolT— Text toolR— Rectangle toolO— Ellipse tool
Notes
- Switching to a tool enables draw mode for that tool.
- Press
Vto return to selection mode.
Auto Layout Keys
Shift + A— Toggle Auto Layout on the selected frame/group, or suggest + wrap a multi-selection in a new Auto Layout frame. Multi-selection wrapping uses a tight zero-padding wrapper by default.Ctrl + Shift + A— Remove Auto Layout from the selected container, or from the parent Auto Layout container when a child is selected.X— Toggle Auto Gap mode (packed/space-between) on the selected Auto Layout container.Ctrl + Arrow— Reorder the selected Auto Layout item within its parent container.Arrow— When the selected object is a direct child of a Grid auto-layout container, move it by one Grid cell instead of nudging by pixels.Shift + Arrow— In Grid auto-layout, jump the selected item farther across cells on the same shared move command.
