Record Mode
Overview
Use Record On in the timeline header to capture animation keyframes while you edit objects.
Workflow
- Select a timeline.
- Move playhead to target time.
- Enable Record On.
- Modify object properties on canvas.
- Disable Record On when done.
What Is Captured
- Keyframes are written at current playhead time.
- Only changed animatable properties are captured.
- Missing tracks are created automatically when needed.
- Existing keyframes at same timestamp are updated instead of duplicated.
Constraints
- Locked objects are ignored.
- Locked tracks are not mutated.
- Playback-only actions do not create history steps.
